Great romantic atmoshere,and quite possibly the BEST food the state of Iowa has to offer!The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgable on the menu.
As far as price goes,a meal like this in a big city would cost at least double the prices here.I think the prices are extremely fair for such outstanding food!!
I highly suggest trying the scallop appetizer,the blue crab stuffed pork loin,any of the chef's daily specials!Last time i was in i had the bread pudding for desert and have been craving it ever since!!
I have never had such great service in any restaurant in Cedar Rapids as i have every single time i come to Daniel Arthur's!!The service staff really goes above and beyond that extra step to make us feel special every time we come in.

reading these reviews we should all visit again....new chef....fresh in house made desserts....top notch steaks and fresh seafood weekly....great service and my crab stuffed pork loin was to die for!!!couldnt have been more impressed easily the best place in the area!great service and very experienced young staff....very amazing ambiance!

We selected this restaurant for some fine wine and dining. We did get some fine wine, not our first choice. They were out of 2 of the dishes we ordered andthe first wine and cordial we ordered. The petits fours were reminiscent of a freezer. We spent over $500 for four people and we very disappointed. They did comp the dessert and give us discount cards but we won't be returning. This was last year so hopefully they have improved these issues.

TREMENDOUSLY enjoyed this. We've been twice this summer and have been very impressed both times. Wonderful, fresh seafood and awesome steaks. Last time I had a beef tenderloin/skipjack combo and my wife had the ribeye. Both were great. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. the wine list needs some work but it's OK.
There is also a cool little lounge downstairs with a nice patio.
We'll be back and soon hopefully!

Overpriced. My steak was overcooked. The waiter was rude. Not a good wine selection. Overall...bad experience.

Easily the best food in Cedar Rapids. Hands down the best chef in the corridor. Exotic seafood and unique pairings with outstanding nightly specials and tapas. Daniel Arthurs puts a new age spin on classical european cuisine,in an excellent setting.
